Double J Ranch is home to our AKC Champion and ASCA Champion Bayoulands Sure 2BA Bonanza "Nate" and several other beautiful Australian Shepherds with blue eyes. We are responsible breeders of Australian Shepherds. Before breeding, we test our Aussies for hereditary diseases and other genetic issues. which include the Hereditary Cataract Mutation (HSF4), the Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Hip Dysplasia (OFFA X-ray Exam), and the Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA/CH). We also test for the MDR1. We use the OFFA to certify the hips of our adult Aussies. We also use OptiGen, Animal Genetics & the AHT to test their eyes. This clears all our puppies, by the parent's health tests, of these crippling and blinding diseases. We offer a written 30 Month Health Guarantee and the AKC-CAR Microchip with all our puppies. Companion pups will be a spay neuter contract. All puppies are vet checked before going to their new forever home. They are dewormed on a weekly basis starting at 3 weeks of age and given their first and second 5 way vaccines at 6 and 8 weeks old.
