The Soft Coated Miniature Labradoodle is an exciting new hybrid dog initially bred here at Arrowhead Park. As in many dog breeds, such as Setters, Pointers, Spaniels, Shepherds, and Collies, there are different types. The Soft Coated Miniature Labradoodle is no exception; it is simply a deviated type of the Labradoodle and Australian Labradoodle! As developed and bred at Arrowhead Park, the Soft Coated Miniature Labradoodle is a three breed cross - the female is an F1 (filial 1) generation Miniature Labradoodle or an F1B (F1 Poodle Backross) mated with an Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. We at Arrowhead are very passionate about this new exciting venture. We have bred various hybrid dogs since 2003, are confident of our breeding practices, and wish to breed the healthiest possible canine companion for disabled or autistic children.

**FOR YOUR INFORMATION**
BUYER BEWARE. PLEASE READ: It is not a matter of choice - this is the law in Canada, as required under the Animal Pedigree Act. Any breeder selling a dog as purebred must register the dog and provide the new owner with the registration certificate within six months of the date of sale. In order for the puppy to be registered, the dog's parents and the emanating litter must also be registered. A reputable breeder will be more than willing to provide this information. If you have any doubts, ask the breeder for a copy of the Certificate of Registration of Litter previously issued by CKC. It is the responsibility of the breeder to forward the application papers to CKC and pay for the initial registration and transfer of the dog into your name.
Upon receiving the breeder's applications, it takes CKC about 10 days to process the applications and send the certificate of registration back to the breeder. The breeder must then send the certificate to you, as the new owner of the puppy. Obtaining official papers is the responsibility of the seller, not the buyer.

American Hairless Terriers in Canada.
The American Hairless Terrier or AHT is the hairless variety of the Rat Terrier. Many allergy sufferers find them to be the only dogs they can own. Due to the lack of hair in the hairless version, they have little dander. Fleas and ticks are not as common with this breed. The hairless is considered by many to be the closest thing to a hypo-allergenic dog.
The coated AHT has very short, fine hair and is also considered hypoallergenic for some people. The American Hairless Terrier makes a wonderful pet for active families. The personalities vary quite a bit, and while some are lap dogs, others are true terriers. Visit our web site to learn more about this truly unique breed.
AHTs originated from the United States in the 1970's and have been raised in Canada since 1999. The Canadian Hairless Terrier Association is Canada's official breed club for the American Hairless Terrier in Canada.
