At Wild Oak Rat Terriers, we proudly strive to breed the best to the best; emphasis on temperament, health, soundness, structure, beauty, brains and prey drive. Our dogs are our pets, live in our home and on our horse ranch, and are never kenneled. We enjoy participating with our dogs in performance events and conformation competitions. They enjoy competing, which gives them a job and keeps their minds active. Pets first, show dogs second. Rat Terriers are a hardy, healthy breed - strong, active, happy, and funny. They are the ultimate family companion, happy to lay around all day, yet ready to go in an instant. They are very sensitive and easy to train. They want to participate with their people and are happiest when they're with them. Registered with UKC and AKC/FSS. Grand Champions and Champions. They do it all, then snuggle under the covers in our bed at night.
