We breed for the classic or old-fashioned type of Lab – a dog that can pick up your birds in the field and look good doing it, then play with the kids in the afternoon and keep your feet warm in the evening. Some people believe the dual purpose Lab doesn't exist anymore; that there are tall, slender field dogs and short, heavy show dogs, but none that can do it all. We disagree. The dual purpose Lab is alive and well at Justamere Ranch! Our breeding stock is AKC registered and certified by OFA and CERF, plus Optigen, CNM and EIC when appropriate.
