Contacting a dog walker is a very smart decision. Many dog owners come home from work to see a dog that is full of boundless energy, and they have no idea why. If they only realized how calm their dog could be if they hired a dog walking service. A professional dog walker will drain some of that pent up energy by playing fetch and/or taking your dog for a good long walk at midday. If you have an older dog or one that is sick, socialization and a simple pet sit is all that may be needed. A good dog walker should have some solid experience walking different types of dogs - especially those unruly canines that pull like a bull. Teaching leash manners to a dog like this should be absolutely mandatory, as it protects not only the safety of the dog, but also that of the human.
